Temples and the New Covenant

The following is a video presentation of a paper presented by the late Matthew B. Brown entitled, "The Israelite Temple and Early Christians." It refutes the common claim that one hears from critics, viz. that temple worship is not part of New Covenant worship.

Another good article is that of Dr. William Hamblin, "The Tract made without Evidence," a refutation of a piece written by James R. White of Alpha and Omega Ministries.

As an aside, Matthew Brown wrote a number of books and articles on the temple, including Symbols in Stone: Symbolism on the Early Temples of the Restoration and The Gate of Heaven: Insights on the Doctrines and Symbols of the Temple.
