Protestant Apologist (Timothy Anders) Admits the Bible and the New Testament Apostles Did Not (and Could Not) Teach Sola Scriptura

Timothy Anders Vs Suan Sonna: Should We Hold to Sola Scriptura? EP 144

Tonight, there was a debate between Timothy Anders (Protestant) and Suan Sonna (Catholic) on the topic of Sola Scriptura. I asked the following question to Anders at the 2:03:33 mark:

How could S[ola]S[criptura] be exegeted from any OT/NT text when they were written during a time of special revelation? For SS to be the rule of faith, there must first be *tota* scriptura.

Anders, notwithstanding being a Protestant, admitted that (1) sola scriptura was never a standard, during the OT-period or the NT-era and (2) it is a post-apostolic tradition. He also admitted that (3) Sola Scriptura cannot be taught during the NT-era as it was a time of special revelation.

In other words, the Bible cannot be used, exegetically, to support sola scriptura.
