George W. Forell vs. the Bible on the Priesthood

Commenting on the Protestant understanding of the “Priesthood of All Believers,” one theologian wrote:

 

This, of course, does not mean that Protestants do not have ministers or pastors or that they might not even call their ministers or pastors priests. But this ministry, which is maintained by the overwhelming majority of Protestants, is a functional office. Ministers are people called by God through the church to serve the fellowship of believers by preaching, teaching, and administering the sacraments. (George W.
