On the Lord's Prayer in Didache 8 being Dependent upon the Gospel of Matthew

In his Rethinking the Dates of the New Testament (an absolute must-read), Bernier writes


Didache 8.2, which introduces as Gospel material a version of the Our Father very close to that of Matthew 6:9-13, seems especially more intelligible if dependent upon Matthew’s Gospel than if independent. (Jonathan Bernier, Rethinking the Dates of the New Testament: The Evidence for Early Composition [Grand Rapids, Mich.: Baker Academic, 2022], 253; Bernier dates the Didache to 60-125 and Matthew to 45-59)
