עולם/αἰῶνος in Jeremiah 7:7 and 25:5

 In Jer 7:7 we read:

Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

"For ever and ever" in Hebrew is לְמִן־עוֹלָם וְעַד־עוֹלָם and in the LXX it is ἐξ αἰῶνος καὶ ἕως αἰῶνος, and yet, we know that the people and the land had beginnings.

In Jer 25:5, we find something similar:

They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever

The Hebrew for "forever and ever" in this verse is מִן־עוֹלָם וְעַד־עוֹלָם and the LXX is ἀπ᾽ αἰῶνος καὶ ἕως αἰῶνος. Again, Israel's fathers and the land itself both had a beginning in time.
