The Afternoon
session of this second day’s meeting gave President Erastus Snow as first
speaker. He began by referring to the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper. We are
commanded to partake of the emblems in commemoration of the sufferings and
death of Our Lord Jesus Christ until he comes. We should partake this
sacrament understandingly and worthily and then it will be found to have a
