ʾamrū la‑zaddīqā ṭāb meṭel hānā pārē ʿabdīhon naʾkhlon
One way to translate the Syriac is "Say to the
righteous [singular], 'Good–for they shall eat the fruit of their works."

As with the Dead Sea Scrolls, Book of Mormon, and Targum Jonathan to the Prophets, the Peshitta has a prefixed preposition before “righteous.”
