The three-member doxology, which is usual in
our services, is missing in the best manuscripts. But 2 Tim 4:18 and the
doxology in Did. 8:2 which, according to the custom of the Didache
(10:5) has two members, show that the Lord’s Prayer was prayed in the Greek
church from the beginning with a doxology.
