I just came across an article, "Mormon Scripture and David's Wives" by Luke Wayne who contributes to Matt Slick's group, Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry (URL). As with so many articles from CARM (e.g., see here on the issue of the biblical texts and the Patristics), it shows an utter lack of intellectual integrity and interaction with LDS scholarship and apologetics; this particular "argument" has long been answered by LDS scholars (e.g., my article on the issue; cf. my refutation of Matt Slick on 1 or 4:6 and sola scriptura proving the lack of exegetical abilities of Slick et al.)
It is amazing that so many Evangelicals think that Slick et al. are worthy of trust, though does speak volumes of the spiritual blindess one must have to subscribe to Evangelical theology, esp. its Reformed variety (cf. Gal 1:6-9).
