By no means do I wish to disparage the work
of the Holy Spirit in giving Christians discernment. Certainly all Christians
must depend on the Holy Spirit to illuminate their minds that they may clearly
see the difference between good and evil, truth and error. And many Christians
who are ill-equipped to study doctrine in depth are remarkably discerning.
