Examples of Pre-Exilic Non-Animal/Propitiatory Sacrifices

 Psa 116:17 (LXX: 115:8)

I will offer (‎זבח) to thee the sacrifice (‎זֶבַח) of thanksgiving (תּוֹדָה), and will call upon the name of the Lord. (Psa 116:17)

LXX: To you I will sacrifice a sacrifice of praise (σοὶ θύσω θυσίαν αἰνέσεως). (Psa 115:8 NETS)

Isa 1:11, 17

To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. . . . Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. (Isa 1:11, 17)

LXX: What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? says the Lord; I am full of whole burnt offerings of rams, and I do not want the fat of lambs nor the blood of bulls and goats-- . . . learn to do good; seek judgment, rescue the one who is wronged; defend the orphan, and do justice to the widow.
