GOD HIMSELF HAD TWO WIVES
Amazingly God, in the Old Testament,
was a polygamist! In Ezekiel 23:2-4 God portrays Himself as being married to two
sisters, Jerusalem and Samaria (also see Jeremiah 3:6-10; 31:31-32, noting the
phrase, “I was a husband unto them”).
Why would God use the analogy of
multiple wives for Himself if it were somehow sinful? (Clyde L. Pilkington,

for the Return to Polygamy [Windber, Pa.: Patriarch Publishing House, 2010],
