31 July 2019 will be the day that whatever shred of credibility John Dehlin may have had in the eyes of people will dissipate. He had as his guest for his recent episode, Dr. David Frankfurter, a scholar who has researched Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA), no doubt in the hope to show the world how evil the LDS Church is for having SRA among the leaders of the Church. However, Frankfurter basically said that there was and is no evidence of this in the LDS Church specifically and modern Christianity in general today--it was all just hype from the 1980s. Needless to say, Dehlin was caught flat-footed and just faceplanted a lot afterwards. If you are a fan of Dehlin, this is a trainwreck; as I joked with some friends, "Smithmas has come early for Mormon apologists!"
