D. M. McAllister on the Meaning of "Visible and Invisible"

We must also assume that the whole material universe, with which we are associated, has also had first Genesis is an account of such a spiritual creation of this earth and all that is therein, including mankind; the second chapter recounts the grosser material evolution. As stated in 1st Corinthians 15:44, “There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.” Colossians 1:16 reads, “By him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible.” I understand that the words, “visible and invisible” means material or temporal and spiritual. Paul wrote—Hebrews 11:3—“Things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (D. M. McAllister, Life’s Greatest Questions—What Am I? Why Am I Here? After Death, What?
