What is interesting is that the author places the date of Christ’s birth to c. 4 BC- AD 1, and the crucifixion c. AD 28-34, showing that the author, in a work published by BYU in the 1970s, did not dogmatically believe that D&C 20:1 taught that Jesus was born AD April 6, 1.
