"Brethren, adieu" in a Hymn from 1683

In the final stanza to "Whig upon Whig; or, A Pleasant visual song upon the Old Plotters newly found out" (1683), rep. The Jacobite Relics of Scotland Being the Songs, Airs, Legends of the Adherents to the House of Stuart (Edinburgh: William Blackwood, 1819), 331, we read the following:

The Tories now will drink

O hone! O hone!

The king's health with our clink,

O hone! O hone!

Queen, duke, and duchess too,

And all the loyal crew.

Brethren, adieu! adieu!

O hone! O hone!
