While not a major area of my studies, I have read a number of works by Christadelphians over the years. My study of this small group within the broad Christian spectrum started when I read the Robert Bowman/Dave Burke debate on the Trinity (Burke is a Christadelphian). Furthermore, around this time, I read the works of Anthony Buzzard, who, while not a Christadelphian, came to his Socinian Christology due to Christadelphians as they are the largest “Biblical Unitarian” group. Furthermore, the Christadelphians have some online presence, so being informed about their oftentimes, rather unique beliefs, especially on the issue of Satan/Demons) would be important. Lastly, it is a movement that, like “Mormonism,” arose during the 19th century Restorationist movement, so at least for me, it is interesting to study the similarities and differences between the Restoration movements of Joseph Smith and John Thomas.
