Alexander Campbell, The Sacred Writings of the Apostles and Evangelists of Jesus Christ

Alexander Campbell (1788-1866), one of the co-founders of the Campbellite movement (Churches of Christ) produced his own translation of the New Testament, the first edition of which was released in 1826:

The Sacred Writings of the Apostles and Evangelists of Jesus Christ, Commonly Styled the New Testament

There are a few things in this translation that LDS will find interesting, such as "The Gospel According to" being changed for all four gospels to "Testimony of" and "John the Baptist" being changed to "John the Immerser."

On the differences and similarities between Joseph Smith's restorationist movement and that of Alexander and Thomas Campbell, see the paper by Kevin L. Barney:

A Tale of Two Restorations
