Jonathan Stapley has an important article on the By Common Consent blog post:
"No known records exist": The fallacy of racial restriction origins
It takes exception with a well-meaning but errant article in the Ensign on the topic of race and the priesthood/temple restriction.
While I have not been a fan of much of BCC in recent years (with some exceptions--Kevin Barney's posts tend to be enjoyable), this is a good one.
Stapley is the author of an important book one should pursue:
The Power of Godliness: Mormon Liturgy and Cosmology (Oxford, 2018)
