My favourite Gregorian Chant is Dies Irae. While reading D&C 112:24, I was reminded of this chant as the language in this revelation strongly paralleled the opening lines:
Behold, vengeance cometh speedily upon the inhabitants of the earth, a day of wrath, a day of burning, a day of desolation, of weeping, of mourning, and of lamentation; and as a whirlwind it shall come upon all the face of the earth, saith the Lord.
So, as a change of pace from the usual material on this blog, here is my favourite rendition of Dies Irae:
