Explication of Christification in JST John 1:16 and 3:36

  

John 1:16:

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

For in the beginning was the Word, even the Son, who is made flesh, and sent unto us by the will of the Father. And as many as believe on his name shall receive of his fullness. And of his fullness have all we received, even immortality and eternal life, through his grace.

 

New Testament Manuscript 2, p. 105:

 


For in the begining was the word, even the son, wh[ich]<o> is made flesh, and sent unto us by the will of the Father. And as many as receive him of believe  on his name shall receive of his fullness. And of his fullness have all we received, <even> imortality and eternal life, through his grace.

 

John 3:36:

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

And he who believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and shall receive of his fullness. But he who believeth not the Son, shall not receive of his fullness; for the wrath of God is upon him.

 

New Testament Manuscript 2, p. 110:

 


 

he who beleiveth on the son hath everlasting life and <shall receive of his fulness but> he who beleiveth not the son shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him <hands, & he who beleiveth on the Son, hath everlasting life; & Shall rceive of his fullnss. But he who believeth not the Son, Shall not receive of his fulness; for the wrath <of God> is upon him,>
