Junius F. Wells on "Elias" signifying a "Restorer" (1882)

  

Elias is a name signifying Restorer, and is applied to John the Baptist, because he was "filled with the Spirit of Elias." (Junius Wells, "Answers to Questions," The Contributor 3, no. 5 [May 1882]:256)
