Dave Barron and Dustin Smith recently debated on the nature of Christ's preexistence (personal vs. merely notional). The debate was a good one, in spite of some rough edges (Dustin's inexperience in the realm of public debates did come out a small bit), and is rather informative.
Personally, I believe Barron won (I would call it 6-4 in his favour). Some texts were either abused (e.g., Isa 44:24) or were given short-shrift (John 17:5 [see here and here for my "take" on this important verse]).
