Recently, Roman Catholic apologist, Trent Horn, gave me pretty high credit as being "a very knowledge Mormon apologist" on his official facebook page:
(for those wondering, in the USA it is spelt "defense" [thus Trent's small edit]; in Ireland and the UK, we spell it "defence")
I thought I would draw attention to this as, in spite of our major theological differences, it is refreshing to see such an attitude in one's theological opponents. Would that some others, including Anson, Bowman, and others would emulate such (Bowman once pulled out the "bigot card" and said that I have a "general disdain for evangelicals" a few months ago [a very "SJW" approach to take]).
It should be noted that I did hit off Trent the idea of using doing a debate or two on LDS/Catholic issues, and some of his Catholic supporters seem to want Trent to seriously consider the debate challenge:
Of course, we live on the opposite side of the globe from one another (Ireland and Arizona), but I am sure there could be some Catholic and/or Latter-day Saints interested in hosting/sponsoring theological debates on central issues (I would happily debate the Immaculate Conception and/or Mass as a propitiatory sacrifice, among other topics, and happily defend LDS doctrines such as divine embodiment, plurality of the Gods, etc).
