In the 1916 Melchizedek Priesthood manual supplementing James E. Talmage’s Jesus the Christ (1915), we have the following explanation of miracles:
Miracle of transmuting water
into wine.—Miracles in general.
Give your idea of the purpose of
miracles; show that miracles are wrought in accordance with natural laws,
