Music by ladies glee. Fine. [Rudger] Clawson made remarks. We need new meetinghouse. Also new Academy. Rejoiced in the testimonies which have been borne, and the abundance of the Spirit of the Lord which has been manifested in our meetings. We are not here by chance. The Lord works by law. It is not by chance that the feet of the Saints have been planted. (Anthony W. Ivins, Journal, August 30, 1903, in Cowboy Apostle: The Diaries of Anthony W. Ivins, 1875-1932, ed.
