Jeff Lindsay has recently a series of articles on his blog showing possible examples of Janus Parallelisms in the Book of Mormon, based, in part, on the work contained in an interesting volume I also happen to own, Scott B. Noegel, Janus Parallelism in the Book of Job. Lindsay presents a dozen possible examples of this literary device in the Book of Mormon; while more research has to go into this area, it does raise interesting possibilities about the literary complexities of the Book of Mormon, as well as adding further weight to the claim it is a translation of an ancient text.
