In his translation of the New Testament, Thomas Wayment renders Rom 16:25-27 thusly:
To him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that has been kept secret for a long time but is now made known through the writings of the prophets, according to the command of the eternal God, to him has been made known to all nations to bring about obedience to the faith—to the only wise God through Jesus Christ, may the glory be forever! Amen.
In a footnote for these verses, we read the following:
These three verses appear differently in a number of early and important New Testament manuscripts, and the evidence is inconclusive regarding where they were originally placed. The options are (1) they were included immediately after 16:23, which has the best manuscript support (2) they were included after 14:23, which has moderately good manuscript support, or (3) they appeared after 15:33, which has the support of one early and very good papyrus manuscript. The language and style of these verses is quite different from that of the letters, and they may have been added by the scribe Tertius, who wrote the letter, or by another scribe, although it is Possible that Paul was quoting from an early church statement of faith. These verses form part of the letter called a doxology, indicating that the letter or portions of it were used in worship. This may indicate a shift in the way Paul’s letters were received in the churches (this is the only Pauline letter to have a final doxology). (Thomas A.
