was a debate between William Albrecht (Roman Catholic) and Tony Costa (Reformed
Baptist; author of Worship of the Risen Jesus in the Pauline Letters):
The
overwhelming biblical and patristic evidence against the dogmatic decrees of
the Second Council of Nicea (787 CE) can be seen in this debate; one will also
see the special pleading the Catholic side is forced to engage in to defend the
dogmatic teachings on this issue.
