Mark 15:28 reads in the KJV as:
And the scripture
was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors (Greek:
Καὶ ἐπληρώθη ἡ γραφὴ ἡ λέγουσα, Καὶ μετὰ ἀνόμων ἐλογίσθη)
This verse does not appear in various translations of
the Gospel of Mark (e.g., NRSV) and the NASB has it, but it is italicized. As the note to Mark 15:27 in the NET explaining the absence of v.
28 reads:
Most later MSS add Mar 15:28
"And the scripture was fulfilled that says, 'He was counted with the
lawless ones.'" Verse Mar 15:28 is included in L Θ 083 0250 ƒ1, 13 33 Û lat, but is lacking in
important Alexandrian and Western MSS and some others (א A B C D Ψ pc). The
addition of the verse with its quotation from Isa 53:12
probably represents a scribal assimilation from Luk 22:37. It
was almost certainly not an original part of Mark's Gospel.
