Note that in vss. 40, 42-49, Paul
simply distinguishes between the earthly (“terrestrial”) bodies which
men lay down in the grave and the heavenly (“celestial”) bodies which
they take up in the resurrection. These two terms should not be confused with
the “telestial, terrestrial and celestial” glories which these heavenly bodies
