Commenting on Mark 14:62, where Jesus uses εγω ειμι and identifies Himself as the "Son of Man" who will sit at the right hand of God/power, Adela Yarbro Collins wrote:
In this saying, Jesus claims to be
a messiah of the heavenly type, who will be exalted to the right hand of God
(Ps 110:1). Being seated at the right hand of God implies being equal to God, at
least in terms of authority and power. The allusion to Dan 7:13 reinforces the
heavenly messianic claim. The “coming on the clouds” has a dual role. On the
one hand, this motif, typical of divine beings, signifies the universal power
that Jesus as messiah will have. On the other, the statement that the members
of the council “will see” him applies especially to his “coming on the clouds”
in a public manifestation of his messianic power and glory. (Adela Yarbro

Commentary on the Bible; Minneapolis, Minn.: Fortress Press, 2007], 706)
