My Grandmother’s Bible
On my desk sits an old Bible. To
most people, it’s just another Bible. But to me, it’s much more. It’s my
grandmother’s Bible, and before she died, she gave it to me. Every time I see
it, I am reminded how God used my grandmother, and especially my own
mother, to tell me about Jesus. If it weren’t for them, I might not be a
Christian at all. (Matthew Barrett, Simply Trinity: The Unmanipulated
