In 1 Nephi 4:15, we read the following:
Yea, and I also thought that they
could not keep the commandments of the Lord according to the law of Moses, save
they should have the law.
What is rather interesting about this passage is that it shows
that inscripturated revelation (which
is not one-to-one equivalent to and/or exhausted by “the Bible”)
is more proximate to believers than many other sources, including oral
traditions and teachings.
