Allowance for Divorce in The Book of Marganitha (1298) and the Assyrian Church of the East

  

. . . divorce is unlawful except for the cause of adultery, or that reason) which pertains to the soul and which is divisible into three kinds: sorcery, denial of the faith, and murder.
