2 Cor 5:10 in the KJV reads:
For we must all appear before the
judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his
body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
The
JST reads a bit differently. The following is an image and transcription of NT2,
p. 130
For we must all appear before the judgement seat of christ, that
every one may receive a reward of the deeds done in the body; things according
to that <what> he hath done, wheather good or bad,
Commenting on the JST reading of 2
Cor 5:10, Draper and Rhodes notes that:
The use of the word “reward,” however, does not negate the idea of
punishment if such is demanded. “Recompense” would probably give a better
understanding of the blessings and consequences of making choices in mortality.
