David Flusser on Luke 7:35

From a translation back into Hebrew, the following possibility arises: the Hebrew word for the Greek “was justified” is zadaqah. The Greek apo would be min in Hebrew. Then the saying would have been: “Wisdom was more correct than her works [or: than her children].” For the Hebrew phrase, see for example, Gen 38:26. But all of this is uncertain.
