The following debate, between two Protestants on the question of whether the charismatic gifts continue today:
Michael Brown (Arminian) affirmed the motion, and, to put it nicely, absolutely destroyed Zachariades (Reformed) on this issue. While they both accepted a false a priori assumption (i.e., the belief in the [formal] sufficiency of the Bible [the false doctrine of Sola Scriptura]), Brown soundly revealed, through careful exegesis, that tongues and other gifts were intended to continue after the inscripturation of the New Testament.
