Jah-oh-eh,
said here to mean “the measurement of this earth,” might reflect a rendering of
the Egyptian word for “soil, field” (Ꜣḥ/Ꜣḥt), or, alternatively, could be a
rendering of the Tetragrammaton, the divine name (YHWH; Jehovah), but these
