Example of a Still Born Child Receiving a Being Anointing in January 1871

In Jens Christian Andersen Weibye, Daybooks, January 20, 1871, we read the following entry:

 

Jan 20th I was called over to bless Herman Christensen stillborn child who died a few minutes ago. I gav him new name LORENZO CHRISTENSEN. and anointed him with Oil.
