ενεργεια in the LXX (NETS):
While
he lay prostrate, speechless because of the divine
intervention (την θειαν ενεργειαν) and
deprived of any hope of recovery. (2 Macc 3:29)
This,
however, was the work of the invincible providence (ἐνέργεια τῆς τοῦ βοηθοῦντος) of the one who was aiding
the Judeans from heaven. (3 Macc 4:21)
And
through the action of the master (τῇ ἐνεργείᾳ τοῦ δεσπότου), he was overcome by a
pleasant and deep slumber and thus disappointed in his wicked purpose and
entirely cheated of his unbending calculation. (3 Macc 5:12)
This
was the working of God who is master of all things (ἡ ἐνέργεια τοῦ πάντα δεσποτεύοντος θεοῦ), for he had
made the king forgetful as to the purpose of his former schemes. (3 Macc 5:28)
For
he himself gave me an unerring knowledge of the things that exist, to know the
constitution of the world and the activity of the
elements (ἐνέργειαν στοιχείων). (Wisdom
7:17)
For
she is a reflection of eternal light and a spotless
mirror of the activity of God (ἔσοπτρον ἀκηλίδωτον
τῆς τοῦ θεοῦ ἐνεργείας) and an image of his goodness. (Wisdom 7:26)
And
if they were amazed at their power and working (ἐνέργειαν), let them perceive from them how much more
powerful is the one who formed them. (Wisdom 13:4)
He
overcame the bitter anger, not by bodily strength, nor
by force of arms (οὐχ ὅπλων ἐνεργεία),
but by his word and he subdued the chastiser, calling to mind the oaths and covenants
given to the fathers. (Wisdom 18:22)
ενεργεια in the LXX (NRSV):
And
what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power (Eph
1:19)
Of
this gospel I have become a servant according to the gift of God's grace that
was given me by the working of his power (Eph 3:7)
From
whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it
is equipped, as each part is working properly (κατ᾽ ἐνέργειαν ἐν μέτρῳ ἑνὸς ἑκάστου μέρους), promotes
the body's growth in building itself up in love. (Eph 4:16)
He
will transform the body of our humiliation that it may be conformed to the body
of his glory, by the power that also enables him to
make all things subject to himself (κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν
(Phil 3:21)
For
this I toil and struggle with all the energy that he
powerfully inspires within me (κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν
(Col 1:29)
When
you were buried with him in baptism, you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the
(Col 2:12)
The
coming of the lawless one is apparent in the working of
Satan (κατ᾽ ἐνέργειαν τοῦ σατανᾶ), who
uses all power, signs, lying wonders. (2 Thess 2:9)
For
this reason God sends them a powerful delusion (ἐνέργειαν πλάνης), leading them to believe what is
false. (2 Thess 2:11)

piercing until it divides the soul from spirit, joints from marrow, it is able
