Snow] spoke on the principles of the United Order, using the text “if we are not
one, ye are not mine.” He incidentally stated that the door of baptism had been
opened for the remission of sins, for the renewal of covenants and for the
observance of the Rules of the Holy United Order, by President Brigham Young. James
