Heb 7:27 in the KJV reads:
Who needeth not daily, as those
high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the
people’s.
Joseph Smith’s revision of the Bible ensures that there is no chance
one will think that the author of Hebrews is even hinting that Jesus offered a
sacrifice for his own sin. The following is from New Testament Manuscript 2,
Folio 4, p. 140:
And
not as those high Priests who offered up sacrifice daily, first for the sins
of the people their own sins, & then for the sins of
the people[,]<;> for he needeth not offer sacrifice for his
own sins, for he knew no sins; but for the sins of the people. & this he
did once when he offered up himself.
