KJV Gen 28:22 reads:
And this stone (אֶבֶן), which I
have set for a pillar (מַצֵּבָה), shall be God's house: and of all that thou
shalt give me I will surely given the tenth unto thee.
The JST changes this verse to make the place where the
stone/pillar was set as being God’s house, not the stone/pillar itself. In Old
Testament Manuscript 2, page 61 we read:
and
the place of this stone which I have set for a pillar, shall be the place of
Gods house; and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth
unto thee.
