Commenting on Isa 2:2:
This prophecy unfolded in part
when Brigham Young, leading the remnant of the Saints in a new exodus to the
West, attempted to established Zion in the tops of the mountains after the
martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith—fulfilling a shadow of that vision. Yet the
full charge of the Servant of the latter days is greater still. His commission
is to complete and set in order the house of God, to lift it as an ensign to
the nations, and to arrange the covenant inheritance of Israel according to
divine pattern. (Miguel Tinoco, Behold My Servant: Isaiah’s Vision of Vindication,
Restoration, and the Gathering of Israel [Magnolia Aether, 2025],95)
