hundred taken from the total number of years leaves eighteen hundred and
twenty, the time appointed of the Father to reveal himself to Joseph, the son
of Joseph, of the seed of Joseph, that were scattered among the nations of the
Gentiles, from whom the Lord had hidden his face from 700 B.C. to 1820 A.D. (Angus

Let us now look to the Western
Hemisphere, on which we are informed that on the 6th of April, 1820, the keys
of the terrestrial kingdom of God were given to Joseph Smith, Jr., by the Lord
