ביום ההוא.
ביום הגאולה אקים את סוכת דוד הנופלת לפי שאמר מלכות אפרים תבטל אמר כי מלכות דוד תקום
והיא הסוכה על דרך משל כי היא סוככת על העם: (source)
“On that day” — on the day of redemption I will raise
up the fallen booth of David, because since he had said that the kingdom of
Ephraim would be abolished, he said that the kingdom of David would arise. It
is called a “booth” by way of metaphor, because it shelters the people.

וגדרתי את פרציהן.
פרצי ישראל ואמר והריסותיו דרך כלל ואמר ובניתיה על הסוכה:
“And I will fence up their breaches” — the breaches of
Israel. “And its ruins” — this is stated in a general way. “And I will build
it” — this refers back to the ‘booth’ (sukkah).
