Leona Jane Walton Neilson (1871-1942) Reflecting the then-contemporary (1929) view among LDS that the JST was not Completed

I have read the Pearl of G. P. twice. And it is a wonderful book. I think the church uses that book to settle arguments. You know the B. of Moses was revealed to J. Sm. And of course you know where he got the rolls of parchment that contained the B. of Abraham. I like the B. of A. it gives us to understand that the Lord wanted us to understand and be educated in all the sciences as well as our religion. I think when the Lord said “that we can’t be saved in ignorance” He meant in the things pertaining to him. I wish I had some one to study with and talk to. I think I could remember better. I think our church works are quite fascinating. You know our church accepts the King James translation of the Bible and there is fourteen books mentioned in that, that is left out. And I suppose a lot of what is in it is mistranslated. You know the Lord told J. S. that he would give him the true translation of the Bible and J. S. started to translate it but it was never published. The reorganized church got what he had translated, but it was lost. You know there is lots to be revealed to us as fast as are prepared to receive it. The Catholic church had a bible with those fourteen books in it I spoke of.
