. . . it is very definite and very certain for we can believe in the final exaltation and glorification of the children of men who serve God where for it makes them Gods even the sons of God but to us there is but one living and true God to us there is but  one Savior that Savior has come in the meridian of time redeem the earth the children of men from the original sin that was committed by our first parents has restored all things through his death and suffering that each and every one of the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve can obtain life and salvation through the [Redeemer?] and exalted and the Father to his presence and the Son to his presence and dwell with him forever . . . (“Brigham Young, 1865 June 18,” pp. 9-10 of George D. Watt’s shorthand account, CR 100 912, Church History Library)
