The earliest witness that
contains the short benediction in 16:24 is Codex Claromontanus (D 06), a
manuscript that also includes the doxology. Many early witnesses do not include
this particular benediction but do include a shorter and arguably earlier benediction
that appears in verse 20. Significant textual witnesses that place the doxology
at the end of the epistle include 𝔓61, Codex
Sinaiticus (א 01), Codex Vaticanus (B 03), Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus (C 04),
and Codex Claromontanus (D 06). With the exception of Claromontanus, these manuscripts
do not include the benediction typically placed at 16:24 in English translations.

Authority of the New Testament [Downers Grove, Ill.: IVP Academic, 2024], 57

Manuscripts that place the doxology
at the end of Romans 14 are generally dated later and include Codex Athous
Laurae (Ψ 01), Codex
Angelicus (L 020), Uncial 0209, and Minuscules 181, 326, 330, 451, 460, and
614. Interestingly, Papyrus 46 (𝔓46) places the doxology at
the end of Romans 15. (Ibid., 57 n. 27)
Manuscripts that place the doxology after Rom
14:23 and at the end of the epistle include Codex Alexandrinus (A 02), Codex
Porphyrianus (P 025), Uncial 0150, and several later minuscules. The doxology
is omitted entirely on Codex Augiensis (G 010) as well as in Codex Boernarianus
(G 012). (Ibid., 57 n. 28)
